Still, it does require some set up, but it is a pretty nice Red card that grind you out a win, and that’s not always something Red is capable of. Making your opponent do it on their own turn is pretty nice I think, especially with the additional upside here. It kind of incentivizes your opponent to cast removal on their own turn in a weird way, since if you reveal anything that isn’t an Instant you won’t get to use it. In a worst case scenario, this can sacrifice itself for the effect – it gets really nasty though when you bring in creature tokens, or creatures that your opponent targets with removal. 500 gems (3333 coins) for 2 packs plus 3 rares. It has a really low mana-cost to use the effect too, so you have a good shot at actually being able to play what you reveal. The cards you draft are twice the number in quick draft than premier draft for the same amount of gold/gems. This is red’s pseudo-card draw effect, and this is the most powerful version of it, because you can even play lands off of this – with some of these effects you don’t get to play lands. So this is a two-mana 2/2 with some serious upside. Starting with the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms release, Quick Drafts will be among the sets remaining in Standard following the upcoming rotation (with half of the drafts being Adventures in the Forgotten Realms as usual), so theres no need to avoid drafting in fear your cards will rotate out soon. 0.5 Almost Unplayable and mostly sideboard material.1.0 Not good filler and often gets gut.1.5 Filler card but sometimes gets cut.2.0 A good playable, but is sometimes cut.2.5 A solid playable that rarely gets cut.
